Dear Reader,
Your intrepid author has spent the last week braving the wilds of that southern land: California. I've been neck deep in board meetings and hobnobbing with industry notables but, somewhere in the hinterlands between Orange County and Santa Monica, the vengeful god of electrodynamics saw fit to smite me. My hard drive gave up the ghost Thursday last (services will be held next Sunday). This means that I have neither the answers to the challenge nor the means of reproducing them (though never fear, the benevolent spirit of gmail has protected and preserved your entries). Upon returning from my latest jaunt through the unaptly titled City of Angels (all Angelenos don't get me wrong, I love your city, but I haven't seen a single angel yet. I'm highly disappointed. I've had my camera the whole time and I really need to get one for concept art) the challenge will begin anew (phoenix...ashes...you get the picture).
Until then you can all enjoy my exciting commentary on SIGGRAPH! Y'all know you love hearing about rendering a physics based water system at 1 FPS on 32 cores...
Or if that's not your thing, check out my after hours coverage. That should have something for all of you.
