terribly disappointed by this game,
The first game was one of the few Xbox exclusives that made the console a must have for me. The new game is competent but full of bugs and dodgy elements. The combat is good, to the point where enemies start to have missle pods, and these creatures that are more at home in Quake than a game with Ninja in the title. For a game with so many combos i find i have to resort to a few moves i can pull off without being punished,
The camera often lets you get off screen as you turn a corner, and though i'm, glad to be able to control the camera while doing a charge move, it took me a while to realise that it changes to the left stick!
The art & Level design while they look great, remind me of an early 3d title, full of invisible walls and burning cars to block areas off.
Still with these complaints and more, i'll finish the game ( in the easy mode :| ) With all the things happening with Itakagi, Tecmo's president, perhaps it was rushed out.. it certainly could be a much better game with a couple issues addressed.
Too bad your not enjoying Gaiden 2.
i feel that its an amazing game!its a game that knows its roots and celebrates it with you!one of those games that knows and loves to be a videogame.in a good way,its how i remember game were.
Along with No More Heores (and the latest xboxLive games)this is some of the best gaming i had this year so far.
I Love it.
i agree with you about some of the thechnical problems(camera and freezing!) but in the end of the day i can only say good things about NG 2.
The later missions have to be seen to be believed.great stuff,i love it.
