Ultraman is the epitome of the Japanese tokusatsu hero.
Masked Rider, is a life-size hero with a human body -- Ultraman, on the other hand, has to do battle with giant monsters, so he's a giant hero.
He is 40 meters tall.
This figure captures a battle scene frolm an episode from the second series of Ultraman shows ("Ultra Seven"), called "The Targeted City".
The scene is one in which Ultraman battles a supremely intellectual being from the planet Metron.
Next Thursday, I'll show you some more Ultraman monsters.

Nice background there!
I'm going to create a show about a giant suburban monster. It seems like there guys only destroy towering skyscrapers, which is a visually effective device for movies and television, but I think it gives small domestic buildings outside of major cities an unfair feeling of comfort and security. A monster rampaging through a residential area, though? It would go unopposed. Crushing a few houses and apartment complexes would be effortless, mobility wouldn't be an issue, and there's less likely to be a giant superhero or military group waiting around to take the monster down.
