what is a college

im thirty years old and accomplished father husband and firefighter paramedic I have fire science degree i would like to work on a BS in game design what sould i be looking for when talk to a guidance councler I have taken somee online courses with c++ in the instutie  oh i live in michigan can somebody show me the way

If you wanted to go into the Development aspect you'll need to know more then just a comprehensive use of a computer language, such as mathematical skills and experience in creating mathematical equations in C++ and all that sort of fun stuff.

I go to Carlow IT for a (Bachelor Honours) Computer Games Development, developed with and backed by Microsoft. I can recommend an excellent site for you to go to.

Be careful though, some colleges offer these "Game Development" courses in the States but they are not geared towards the video game industry, they're just a different course with the word "game" slapped right on it.
