Im a huge Contra Fan.
It was known as one of the best run and gun games since 1987
I've enjoyed both the arcade versions of the games.
Including:
Contra (Gryzor) - NES
Super C (Contra II) - NES
Operation C - Gameboy
Contra III: The Alien Wars (Contra Spirits) - SNES
Contra Hard Corps - Genesis
Contra: Shattered Solder (Shin Contra) - Playstation 2
Neo Contra - Playstation 2
Contra IV (Contra: Dual Spirits) - Nintendo DS

[I dont count Contra Force, Contra: Legacy of War, C: The Contra Adventure because they are not "Contra" Games at all. Plus they were horrible]

But my point is Konami should actually consider about making a Contra Movie. Maybe one that is based off between the First and the Alien Wars Series.

I honestly believe most games that become Movies tend to suck, because the directors dont get enough info about the game or they just dont play the damn game at all.

Doom is a prime example, in my opinion the movie really didn't get awesome until the last part when they decided to go first-person, because that what Doom is all about!
And the Bloodrayne movie wasn't even all that great either.

Now I understand that the timeline and story for the Contra Series is kinda mixed up and rather confusing.
But I strongly think Contra would make an awesome movie title maybe if it was CG'd to perfection.
Cause it would be nice to see Bill Rizer and Lance Bean on the big screen someday.

But yeah that my two cents.
