After two months of strong sales, handheld hardware was down for the month of April.
At nearly 104,000 systems per week, the Nintendo DS is still selling exceptionally well. However, this rate is down nearly 26% from March and 12% from a year ago. Meanwhile Sony's PlayStation Portable has slid back below 50,000 units per week for the first time since August 2007. Sony's handheld is down almost 19% from March but is up 5% from last April.
