PC FPS player Jason_Seip goes out on a limb to support Sony’s coming motion controller, which he thinks will prove a better FPS controller than dual thumbsticks or Natal.
Why? Because he digs pointers. "Though I am typically disappointed with the motion control facet of the Wii remote, it works great as a console pointer device. More importantly, Metroid Prime 3 showed how naturally such a control scheme can mesh with a first person shooting experience, something that in the case of almost all other games, I would prefer a computer/mouse combination."
If nothing else, it might mean that Wii's rail shooter renaissance will continue on PS3. House Of The Dead in hi-def? Count me in.
