Edge 200 On Sale Now

Edge’s 200th milestone issue officially goes on sale in the UK from today.

The issue features an in-depth look at the conception and birth of the industry-changing PlayStation console, as well as an interview with Trip Hawkins, who offers an inside’s account on the 3DO console.

Edge 200 also offers the uncut version of the 100 Best Games to Play Today, revealing which games leading industry figures consider their favourite, as well as an in-depth, six-page article on the game that landed at number one.

Elsewhere, Edge speaks to Sonic The Hedgehog programmer Yuji Naka, who offers his own perspective on Sega’s colourful history. Edge also interviews four of today’s key developers to ask what games will be like in 2016; the year in which Edge will publish its 300th edition.

The bicentenary issue will see 199 separate cover designs land in stores across the UK, while the 200th cover – custom designed by LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule – has been delivered exclusively to subscribers, who received their copy of the magazine at the start of the week.
