Mafia II remained on top this week with 9890 mentions. Slightly less than the previous week, but still comfortably ahead of number two spot Red Dead Redemption's 4847 mentions. H.A.W.X. 2 attracted just under half that figure with 2207, but that was enough to place it at number three.
Kane & Lynch 2 and Super Mario Galaxy 2 round out the top five with 1778 and 1698 mentions respectively. Surprisingly, Metroid: Other M doesn't make an appearence, having debuted in the UK All Formats Chart at number 12.
UK Sales Chart week ended September 4
Having become a regular fixture in the past few Games Indexes, Lego Harry Potter didn't net enough comments to secure a top ten place this week. This allows Super Mario Galaxy 2 to occupy the top of the positive comments charts with 50 per cent of its1698 mentions. H.A.W.X. 2 attracted the fewest positive comments with 28 per cent.
H.A.W.X. 2 also received the most negative chatter this week, its 19 per cent just two per cent more than last week's most negatively discussed game, Kane & Lynch 2. Sniper: Ghost Warrior replaces Lego Harry Potter as the game with the least negative feedback, only two per cent of its 409 mentions proving unhappy.
