Out Soon: E212

Our latest issue, featuring Crysis 2 and its move from the rainforest to the urban jungle, and from PC exclusive to multiformat.

Subscribers now have their hands on our latest issue, featuring Crysis 2 and its move from the rainforest to the urban jungle.

Arriving on UK newsagents' shelves on February 16, E212 shows how Crytek's technological masterpiece is not only undergoing a change of scene in terms of its New York City setting, but also in terms of the hardware on which it will run. The original Crysis spearheaded the leading edge of PC graphical power, but its sequel will also appear on 360 and PS3.

We visited Crytek's Frankfurt studio to see how the console version retains all the visual splendour you'd expect from the series, and how the Nanosuit 2.0 will present a new take on its vision for firstperson action.

We also take a long look at Rockstar San Diego's Red Dead Redemption and present a large retrospective on World Of Warcraft, charting the past, present and future of why it's the game of the decade, including an interview with original lead designer Rob Pardo. And we also meet Ed Fries, the man who set up Microsoft Game Studios and helped launch the original Xbox, and who left and started a successful business making WOW figurines.

Fighting Fantasy writer Steve Jackson meets legendary German board game designer (yes, really) Reiner Knizia, and we talk to and play the remake of Perfect Dark for Xbox Live Arcade and discover just how good Rare's 2000 follow-up to Goldeneye still is.

In news, meanwhile, we meet W!Games' team behind strategy game Greed Corp and catch up with the fortunes of last year's Dare To Be Digital winners.

Previewed Gran Turismo, Just Cause 2, White Knight Chronicles, Last Rebellion, ModNation Racers, Elemental: War Of Magic, Alice In Wonderland (DS), Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins Of The Moon, Rocket Knight, Zangeki No Reginleiv, Flipper and Nier
