We have great pleasure in announcing the winner of our competition, randomly chosen from the correct entries - Manubus77! The answer, Bat-fans, is a 'fortune' and 'years' - these were the two things Batman was lucky to have when he fought Superman in the comic The Dark Knight Returns. Yes, he used Green Arrow's help, a power suit and kryptonite to defeat Superman, but they weren't lucky breaks. It took his huge fortune and the luxury of time to synthesise that crucial kryptonite. See below for the panel that proves all. Congratulations, Mancubus77.
For those that have so far held back from buying Batman: Arkham Asylum, you could be in luck. We're giving away a copy of the PS3 version of the Collector's Edition to the first Edge reader to demonstrate a little knowledge of Batman lore.
The Collector's Edition contains a range of premium paraphernalia somewhat worthy of the Dark Knight himself: a copy of the game, a behind the scenes DVD, a DLC code for an exclusive Challenge Map, Crime Alley, a 48-page journal of notes on Arkham's inmates and - WOW - a 14-inch batarang with stand..jpg)
For your chance to win, tweet your answer to the following question to @edgeonline with the tag #edgecomp:
What did Batman luckily have both of when he went toe to toe with Superman?
The closing date for entries is 4pm GMT on Tuesday September 22. We'll pick a correct entry at random and announce the winner at 5pm GMT.
Please don't put any personal details on your tweet - we'll ask the winner for their address. We will not retain any details from entrants. Good luck, Bat-fans.
