Overview:

The game takes place on a board like this:

The blank spaces between the black bars will be referred to as “safe spots”, while the collection of lines between the converging points of large lines and the dots where the lines converge will be referred to as “highways”.

Upon beginning the game, each side will select either circles or crosses. The circles will be referred to as “EA” and the crosses will be referred to as “T2”.

How it’s played:
The object of the game is to use your units to cooperatively drag enemy units back to your safe spot.

At the start of the game, both sides will deploy three of their units as they wish on the three safe spots on their side of the board and on the two lines between the safe spots. This is called their “Main Base”. The remainder of the board (the 3 safe spots, 4 dots and 8 lines in the middle) is called “No Man’s Land”.

Each player must move one unit each turn. While a unit is on a highway, it may move up to 2 spaces along a highway (i.e. a dot to a line to another dot). While a unit is in a safe spot, that unit must move to a highway (so as to prevent turtling) and may only move one space (i.e. to any adjacent line). A unit may not move 2 spaces on a highway, and then move into a safe spot. Upon touching an enemy unit, the two units will “latch together” and a “chain” will form between them.

While two units are chained, each unit may, during their turn “drag” the opposing unit (and himself) one space in any direction he chooses. While dragging, the dragged unit will be pulled to the space originally occupied by the unit in front of him, and so on to the end of the chain. However, the dragger may not go into a safe spot, and a unit in a safe spot cannot be chained. A unit may not move onto a friendly unit unless it is already chained, upon which the unit will teleport to any chosen unoccupied side of the friendly unit.

However, if another unit chooses to latch onto any part of the chain, then the tables will be turned. The unit that is in lesser numbers will not be able to move during his turn, while either of the two enemy units may drag both other units’ one space in any direction they choose.

If any unit moves back to a friendly safe spot with enemies in his chain, the moving unit’s faction will gain points equal to the number of chained enemies. All chains will dissolve and all enemies will teleport back to any place in their Main Base. The original latching unit may dissolve his chain at any time; it counts as a minor action, so a unit may dissolve his chain, after which another friendly unit will move. Only one chain may be dissolved each turn and must be dissolved before moving.

If another unit of the lesser faction latches on at any part of the chain, than both units of either faction will be able to drag the chain one space in any direction, as if it were a two unit chain. However, in order to prevent confusion caused by stacking, if 2 units of the same faction are dragged to the same piece of highway, one unit will be teleported to any chosen unoccupied side of the chain.

Likewise, if an additional unit latches on to the chain, the chain will behave like a three unit chain.

However, if another unit (i.e. the last unit) latches onto the chain, then the entire chain will explode. The latching player will receive two points and all enemy units will teleport back to their Main Base. This is called “Unwise Overclocking”. The latching player may exclaim “Oh no, please use water cooling!” which will increase his “Geekiness Meter” by one and his opponents “Humiliation Meter” by one.

If three friendly units latch on to an enemy unit simultaneously, the enemy unit will be “Annihilated” and will teleport back to his Main Base. The annihilating player will receive one point. The annihilating player my exclaim “Zerg Rush!” which will increase his “Geekiness Meter” by one and his opponents “Humiliation Meter” by one.

If a unit moves into an enemy’s Main Base he will the teleported back to his Main Base and his faction will gain one point. This is called a “Jailbreak”. The jailbreaking player may exclaim “All your base are belong to us!” which will increase his “Geekiness Meter” by one and his opponents “Humiliation Meter” by one.

The game ends when either player’s score reaches 10.

A player’s “Godness Meter” is decided by his Geekiness Meter minus his Humiliation Meter. The Godness Meter carries over from game to game. Upon a player having a Godness Meter 50 points higher than the other, the game will end with the Godly player winning and the winning player may exclaim “I am the King of All Cosmos!” which does nothing at all.
