The Golden Joysticks are in full swing this year with nearly half a million votes already cast across categories as diverse as Family Game of the Year, Soundtrack of the Year and the Virgin Media Ultimate Game of the Year.

But while gaming’s longest running awards show has been packing them in for over 25 years, because of the timing of the voting and the traditional home of the ceremony in October, some great games and titles announced and shown during the summer slip through the net and don’t get a chance to qualify for the awards.

Well not this year, because the Golden Joysticks have announced a brand new Most Wanted Golden Joystick chosen by Edge magazine and Edge Online.com to give Joystick voters a chance to have their say on the future classics of the gaming firmament.
