Because the act of creation is beautiful and empowering. To make my voice heard. Because games are so well suited to exploring the dynamics and relationships that are at the heart of being a social creature. To show others that it can be done, and that they can do it too.

Because I’m tired of looking at games and not seeing myself in the reflection. To make the world a better, or at least different, place. Because I have stories to tell that no one else will. To remind people that games can be larger than what we accept that they are. Because I can.
