Irrational Games has announced 1999 Mode for BioShock Infinite, a more challenging mode designed in response to fan feedback. As well as scarcer health, weaponry and powers, 1999 Mode requires that players pick specialisations and stick to them, a result, creative director Ken Levine explains, of a community poll on the developer's website. Irrational Games has created a finely choreographed blend of drama, action, and spectacle. And the technology it has harnessed for that falling sequence is quite fantastic.
Speaking during Sony's E3 conference, Irrational's Ken Levine revealed that the developer is working on an NGP title set in the BioShock universe. During his presentation, he also said that BioShock Infinite will feature Move support which Irrational is "just getting their heads around."
