The publisher has revealed its plans for Sony's upcoming portable, with six confirmed games in the pipeline: Assassin's Creed, Rayman Origins, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, Asphalt, Michael Jackson The Experience and, in news that sent a certain corner of the Edge newsdesk hurrying to investigate pre-order prices, Lumines. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said: "With its processing power, dual tactile screens and cameras, PS Vita allows creators like Ubisoft new and unique opportunities to develop innovative games We’ve got a strong and varied line-up that will offer fun and immersion to all audiences of the PS Vita.”
Assassin's Creed publisher Ubisoft is committed to bringing its major franchises to tablet devices, CEO Yves Guillemot said in an earnings call this afternoon. “The tablet market is growing fast. We have Apple and lots of other players with tablets," he said, according to CVG. "We are developing a few products around our brands. You will see games in the next few years from all of our biggest brands like Assassin's. They will be different games. They will be adapted from games in the past or specifically developed for those platforms."
