I always thought the mini kegs were just full of the shit bits they don't want to put into bottles. It's always tasted like that when I've cracked one.
Oh wait, you're talking about the small cans that look like kegs, right. Carry on then.
More than happy with Budweiser 66. I have no idea why, and it might just be marketing spin, but it's more refreshing than most other beers to me. That and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, thanks.
Peroni is awesome, but he red label stuff is even better, 6.6% and tastes wonderful. As does Leffe Blonde of which I now have a fridge full of 75cl bottles thanks to those lovely folks at Tesco reducing it to £2.78 and 3 for 2 last week.
7.5%, g.man? Holy crap. Haven't had a stout that strong, I don't think.
Had a couple of lovely bottles of Spitfire last night. You just can't go wrong with a nice bottle of English ale. I really should get myself a book on ales so I can get all Pokemon with them.
If anyone can get their hands on St. Peter's best bitter, give it a go. It's a bit pricey, but I picked it up because the bottle looked really nice (I'm fickle). Delicious.
Had another alcohol raffle at work, i won a 24 crate of Kronenburg, a 24 crate of Bud, own brand malibu, own brand Bailey's, apple sours, 12 own brand bottles of WKD blue, a bottle of lambrini, a bottle of ouzo and a bottle of grenadine.
Haven't had Foreign Extra for years, in complete agreement g, lovely stuff. On the Bud tip, the Yank pish can get straight out. My local has Budvar dark in though and it's dead nice. Not had a dark lager since living in Finland, a little more taste and body but still refreshing and light. Not sure lager will ever overtake cider as my summer drink but variety's nice
Tonight it is Leffe - one blonde, one brune.
I've also got a bottle of some Russian lager, just to see what it's like. My expectations are low.
I may also have some of the 12yr Glenlivit that I haven't opened yet.
Because of the state of this place, we've all buggered off to www.thebearandbadger.co.uk - come and have a look around!
It's called Baltika. Call me prejudiced, but I automatically assume that any alcohol coming out of the former soviet union is going to be at least 30% industrial solvent.

I'm currently working my way through a pack of Heineken mini kegs. God i love Heineken.

Yeah yeah, the tiny six pack jobbys.
Have had those 'home' keg things as well, my conclusion was much the same as yours.

The home page is so in your face European, it's like a non-sexy episode of Euro Trash

Any red wine that has a pre-2008 date on it seems like a posh drink to me.
I'm on st'andrews scotch. The bottle is like a big glass golf ball. Its propper chintz.
I'm currently digging Yorkshire Farmer and also this as it was on offer in Morrison's last week.
More than happy with Budweiser 66. I have no idea why, and it might just be marketing spin, but it's more refreshing than most other beers to me. That and Peroni Nastro Azzurro, thanks.
Peroni yes, but not Budweiser. Dear heavens no. Budvar on the other hand is lovely.
Um Bongo is indeed the drink of the gods.

I scored a free bottle of Hardy Crest from some ponce at a BBQ today.
Leave your shit behind? Don't expect to get that back. Yoinks!

Not bad for £3 of raffle tickets.

It's sunny outside, and reasonably warm, therefore it's cider time people, cider time.
No ice though.
I am addicted to Tropical Capri-Sun.
Edit: Ice Cold
Vodka, ice, gingerbeer and mint. That is what turned my liver into a fine paste last night. Today, water.
Tonight it is Leffe - one blonde, one brune.

Raise expectations Gremill, when in Finland my second favorite lager was Koff, which started as a Russian brewery, so they've a little form to go on
It's called Baltika. Call me prejudiced, but I automatically assume that any alcohol coming out of the former soviet union is going to be at least 30% industrial solvent.
To lower your expectations again, they sell it in 'spoons so I dunno if it'll be an experience or not
Bison grass vodka. Very nice if you can get it.
Bought a lot of beer in Germany. It's so fucking cheap and it's brilliant.
