The Original thread started by Turt's of course, I figured I'd launch this one off on the new site.
A place to discuss all manner of ideas, opinions and recommendations on all aspects of Exercise and Fitness.
Despite popular opinion, we gamers are not all a bunch of sweaty, overweight, sedentary, lazy geeks hiding in our basements playing Nintendo, quite a few of us on here play all sorts of sports, workout and keep fit.
What do YOU do? What are you fitness goals? What exercise routines/techniques have you discovered work for YOU? Could they help others on here achieve theirs?

I work in a couple of places as a Personal Trainer, teach karate and Commando Krav Maga, teach all sorts of fitness classes and operate a gym in between, what do you do to keep fit?

Oi, speak for yourself. Some of us are quite proud of the way that our rolls of fat keep in our own natural moisture. And besides, it's not my basement, it's my mum's. But, like, it's totally cool. I'm more like a tenant than anything else and I totally get my own space.

Jeez. Unless you're very short, that seems dangerously light. I'm clocking just over 1.5x your weight (15 stone), and I'm not that tall (6 foot).

Climbing is my exercise of choice, indoor mainly but get outdoors when i can. I used to rack up around 12/14 hours a week at the local wall and put in quite a few weekends but now with kids and work i can just about manage once a fortnight. As a consequence I'm getting fat and week.

I've lost a stone of muscle-weight since I stopped window cleaning. Had to seriously curb my intake to make up for the fact I'm no longer working manually. Tough as hell the first few weeks, but I seem to have arrested the fall now Was a bit worried I was going to lose too much weight and get all weak and pansified...

So Yoga was great. I found the mix of Tai-chi and Yoga to really work some key muscle groups that traditionally dont get a work out. I can feel my upper legs and core today feeling pretty great.
Having mirrors all over the place in the studio is great. Watching the muscles in my arms contract as I hold a pose is possibly the sexiest thing I can think of right now.
Also, the ratio was 30 women to 3 guys. Amazing.

Fuck off Reagan. Everyone: get kettlebells, they are amaze. Some stats from my current bout of lifting things. I am up to +20kg for my weighted chins (3x5), hoorah. In the next 12-18 months I'll hit 2x bodyweight for deadlifts (current is 1.6ish) and squats (1.2ish), 1.5 for bench (bodyweight currently) and bodyweight for press (a piddling 0.6ish). At this point, I will be declared perfect and assigned protected status by the National Trust. Achieve your goals and you too can become heritage listed. P.S. I lift weights mostly and have mastered the simaltaneous cut-and-bulk. I do the odd bit of crossfit stuff on weekends for shiznits and griddles. I fear Jim's impressive mass, as he outweighs me by a good 20kg. At 6'0 and 74kg I think another 6kg is attainable.

6'0 and 91Kg.
Building my "gym" rather than going to a proper gym.
Keeping up the cardio with 30mins rowing and 30 mins spinning every morning.
Weights wise, only have an inclined bench and free weights. Currently only in posession of 2 x 20Kg and 2 x 30Kg. Have a routine of 3x10 curls, shoulder press, inverted rows, bench press and shrugs.
Weights aren't heavy enough for the bench press but for the shoulder press and curls they feel suitable. I have some shitty 10 kgs that I use for tricep extensions and deltoid raises.
Not sure if there's any more that I need to be doing apart from contuing to build up.
Edit: Told a lie, I also have 2x 50Kg dumbells that I purchased by mistake (thought they were spin locks) either way these are far too heavy for me. They sit in the corner calling me a pussy everytime I work out.

I'm 1m80 and weight 125kgs. My morning fitness routine consists of running after the bus and then relaxing with a nice capucinno and veggie omelette croissant from Apostrophe.

I've just bought a tennis racket. It really looks very lovely. Haven't played since I was 15, so I'm quite fearful of being destroyed by my gf, who is a bit of a serena of sorts. She has it in her head we need to do sports together so I can lose some weight since I refuse to stop eating. FUCKING BITCH.
