Just had a look earlier and, on my shelf, are six titles still in their wrap and untouched. Games such as Red Dead, Shift 2, Mass Effect 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Fallout 3: GOTY Edition and, err, Beatles Rockband. On top of the ten or so games I am probably only halfway through.
Worse, I have all the DLC episodes and suchlike for these titles ready to go. *facepalm*
God I need to be unemployed and single again!
Does anyone else end up stockpiling unplayed games?

Go and play ME2 or Arkham Asylum right now, sacriledge
Stop buying so many games. If you hadn't already bought them so they could sit prettily on your shelf you could have picked them up now for fuck all.

I did pick them up for fuck all though. That's why I have them. Outlay of about £50 on all that lot. Shift 2 was more or less free, with survey vouchers.
Yes, I have a shelf dedicated to JRPG's.......One day Eternal Sonata your day will come!
I have the DLC for GTA4 unplayed, I'm only 3 levels into Dead Space, just started disc 2 of LA Noire, haven't even started Splinter Cell Conviction and Fall Out New Vegas and have a HDD full of briefly played XBLA titles.
I just don't have the time for games any more.
Ah yeah, I forgot about XBLA titles. Oh god, I am not even gonna look.
Grem, you're only 3 levels into Dead Space because you're too scared to play on.
Grem doesn't get scared fyi.

Playing: Trials Evolution, Peggle
I just got rid of all my extraneous 360 games towards the 3DS, so I'm down from somewhere in the region of 25 to 16.
I have millions of unplayed games. Mostly PS2 and Oldbox games that I picked up for pence
I get most of my games for under £15 these days, but on average I probably only play one in three to completion. In the last few months I've bought Lost Odyssey, Banjo Kazooi, The Megadrive Collection, Stranglehold and Red Dead Redemption, but RDR's the only one that's been in my 360. The one's I haven't played yet cost me a combined total of £24 though.
I have an horrific number of games that I bought cheaply thinking "ooh I'll have that whilst it's cheap and come back to it." and that's only over the last few months.
Damn you, Steam. DAMN YOU.
I have 14 Wii games. 9 are still sealed.
I have 14 Wii games. 9 are still sealed.
That's probably for the best.
Ha, I was about to post that Bob.
I probably should play some of the games I've got, but I supose it's easy to drift back to Rock Band and Halo. Problem is, they aren't games you finish. So I'll always play them. I'm sure I'll one day get round to Siren, or The Red Star.
Bob, I obviously agree with you as I haven't opened them.
I have a similar problem with Wii games. A Boy & His Blob, Little King's Story, Mad World, Nights, Warioland Shake Dimension, Muramasa: Demon Blade, House of the Dead: Overkill, Sonic Colours....all games I read about and wanted to play, but haven't, at least for more than an hour or so. Edit: And Kirby, I haven't even played that yet.
Well you should play HotD:Overkill. You can blast through that in an evening and it's brilliant.
That's in my still sealed games list.
Overkill is the best game on the Wii.
Yeah it looks great. I only bought it a couple of weeks ago, so its not reached the point of no return yet (where you've had a game for ages, and eventually admit to yourself you'll never play it - like MGS4 for me).
Yeah I bought Splinter Cell: Conviction on release day, at full price, and still haven't played it. Seems like too much of an effort to start it, weirdly.
I often purchase games just because they are a bargain price only to ignore, never play then trade
Guilty of buying, playing through, trading, buying back etc with a fair few titles as well.
Xbox live arcade I agree with that. I buy them then never play them and think why did I buy that in the first place. Microsoft points are a pain. Just because you have a few lying around a wee voice chants spend em spend em use em spend em....
I'm terrible for this. I've a load of games I've played briefly, but this is my list of games I've NEVER touched!

It's taken me so long to edit my post, so it's readable, I haven't the energy to play anything at the moment!
Definitely I get too many xla/psn games. I'm not saying I buy loads but I tend to buy some games, play them for an hour and move on. Under my old live tag I had loads of games, many not getting any love past day one and some real rotten tomatoes.
Sack that, Mark, get right stuck into Fallout. See you at Christmas.
All of my games, apart from 1 or 2, are pretty much unplayed. I'm more compelled to buy them than play them. Need therapy.
Send them to me.
