I love E3, it's like first Christmas, and Christmas is like Christmas part 2. I usually take off work to watch the presentations and this year will be no different for me. So what do you hope happens at E3 this year? Maybe a specific game to be announced, or a console or a new particular service to be detailed.
I prediction NPG will get priced at $399, I'll be happy with that and I hope to see a FF7 remake announced for it although I know that won't happen. I want to see more on Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Uncharted 3, The Last Guardian, and Batman Arkham City amount others but those are the big five to me.
I'd also like to know if Project Cafe will be backwards compatible with all the Virtual Console games I've bought.

I predict much willy waving between MS and Sony as always, I also predict something massively hyped and talked up from nintendo only for it to actually be unveiled to be a basic barebones console with a waggle stick and one button that does everything so even pensioners can play.
And we shall all hate them.
Then again they could suprise us all and Finally listen to what gamers want.
I predict a desperate attempt by Sony and MS to make Kinect and Move look less like white elephants. Personally, I'd rather have a game about white elephants than either.
New Syphon Filter domains have apparently been registered. Is Sony planning to revive one of it's better old IPs?
Then again, I never played a Syphon Filter game.

What do I care? Often the best part of modern games is the online and I (now) live in Africa. So, what do I care? The game I've been clamouring for so long (a F-Zero GX with proper online) is no longer suitable.
In all seriousness, I only care for the Nintendo, Microsoft E3 presser and The Last Guardian the rest is only “shadows and dust”.
I predict a whole load of crap that I genuinely could not the slightest shit about; one, maybe two games that I'm actually interested in being announced and possibly two or three more that have already been announced having some extra features and demos revealed. That seems to be about standard for E3.
I shall be watching with my Scorn bucket, ready to pour bitter, bitter, angry scorn over everything.

I'll shake my head as Nintendo announce more family friendly rubbish before re-announcing their finger heart monitor thingy, scoff at the 'megaton' announcements made by MS and Sony then go to bed dejected.

A quick look at gametrailers suggests many developers/publishers have learnt their lessons about losing their games within the E3 vortex. Quite a few early trailers going up already. That would be just lovely. Haven't heard anything about a sequel but I was listening to the Weekend Confirmed podcast a few weeks back and they kept using FC2 as a touchstone when describing Dead Island.
I have a genuine hope that Nintendo will pull it out of the bag.

I would love Criterion to reveal Burnout Paradise 3D for the 3DS but that'll like, never happen. Otherwise Cafe bollocks is pretty exciting. But as for anything else, not all that bothered this year.
I'm looking forward to a new Katamari. I know there's a reg cliche in there, but there must be some sort of new iteration with updates coming. I'd really hope so.
I also really need to see what's happening in the world of fighting games - a big reveal that's not SF X T would be great.
