I hope none of you mind me joining the forum just to ask for help.
The time has (unfortunately) come for me to clear space, which means I have to part with my Edge Magazines. I have issues 13-228 (I am missing four issues). Some of which I acquired on Ebay several years ago.
I have just looked on Ebay, where I was ready to list them and there seems to be almost no interest at all. I cannot bring myself to throw them away, but I do need the space.
Has anyone here sold any Edge's on Ebay? is it worth perservering with, or should I be biting the bullet?

I really don't know why people would pay for old issues of a video game magazine. I threw all my old issues of Edge in a dumpster last year.
Recycle them.

why would you throw away something you spent so much money on?
if you can't shift them send them to me and I'll pay the postage.
I threw them away because I had read them and no desire to hoard stuff.

I had a similar experience earlier this year. I sold a special edition for £12, but the rest didn't shift.

Just thinking about what to do with a fuckload of games mags, mainly a lot of Edges (from about issue 35 onwards, with a few gaps). Don't know why I've always kept them anyway, but I have, and it's time to do something with them. I know they're not worth selling, but throwing them out seems a shame.
Anyone want any for postage cost (could be quite high due to weight), or to come and collect (from Warwick area)?

What are the non-Edge ones? I think there's some website archiving old games magazines.
The world has become obsessed with keeping things. Surely there are few things less worth keeping than a magazine covering a snippet of a constantly changing, trivial pass time.
There's nothing trivial about masturbation.
I got rid of about 50 issues of ONM a while back, put them on freecycle, some mum took 'em for her kids to cut up for "crafts."
I'm not one to judge and I was happy someone could find use for them.

BUT I WANNA HORDE LOTS OF MAGAZINES THAT I WILL NEVR READ AGAIN! They will go nicely with all the games in my collection that I will never play again.

I'd have to check, but there's certainly some Super Play, Official PlayStation, some really old CVGs, Mean Machines etc.

Every time people say they're getting rid of their Edges I go, "Oh but wait a minute, there's some I wouldn't mind having that I missed before I was a subscriber". If I actually get off my arse and figure out which ones they are and you have them, could I have them (I'll pay for postage obviously)?
