Welcome to the redesigned Edge forum.
Think of this as a first iteration - we'll be improving as we go along. There a lot you can do, and some things you can't. And there's some stuff that doesn't quite work properly.
Pagination at the top of pages seems to be broken - this worked fine while we were testing. We're on this now. The bottom pagination controls seem to work fine.
You can insert images and YouTube videos - the latter should be pretty self-explanatory, but you need to put the video id, the 11-character code after the = in a YouTube URL.
You can denote spoiler text.
You can quote text. Bad things happen if you nest quotes in quotes at present. It also doesn't seem to automatically take in linebreaks. Gah.
You can link to specific posts using the date/time stamp at the top of the post in question.
You can have a signature - edit on your Account page.
You can insert your location, gamertags and website - edit on your Profile page.
You can add an avatar on your Account page, too.
Everyone has a profile page, which lists all comments and posts you've made, as well as your location, website, gamertags. Currently, it's listed oldest first, which isn't awfully helpful, but it's complex to fix. We will do so ASAP. The links also really unhelpfully don't go to the comments in question but to the first post in the thread. Again, this will be fixed.
The Edge word filter should be in place, but it doesn't seem to be firing. It might be that it doesn't currently apply to the forum, and only to comments. We're looking into it.
The forum lacks dedicated search. We'll add it ASAP. Until then, Google should work OK.
The New and Updated Discussions button on the main forum menu could be a lot better. We'll add links to latest posts and so forth.
Please let us know what you think of the revamp - hopefully you'll find it a huge improvement. We'll keep the old forum live for the rest of the week in case of any disasters. After this, we'll lock it, but leave it online indefinitely.

Thanks, Mod. Yeah - image resizing has been a bit of a bugbear. It works fine when we publish articles, but it's apparently not so straightforward when we try to apply to the forum. Fixing's on the list, but I think posting appropriately sized pictures in the first place is generally better form.
Bug:
Clicking "3 New" takes you to last page, then to latest posts, then jumps back up to the top of the page. IE9
Quibble:
Hard to clearly see where post ends and signature starts.

As noted in other thread, quoting seems to work, then disappear, then work on second click.
After making post, jump to entered post, rather than top of page, as per old forum, would be nice.
Anchor tags in several places seem a bit screwy.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmuchhh better, well done lads, from a netbook perspective i'd just like to ask for the comment entry box to be a teeny bit less tall (takes up half my screen so its a bit out of my auto-scroll-down sweet spot), and the navigation links at the lop, can they be a little bit bigger? Bit small for quick touchpad clicking. Otherwise, a million times better

Are there any plans for navigation at the bottom of the page? All I can see is navigation to go to first or last page and not back to the main page? I could very well be missing something but it's a pain to have to scroll to the top of the page.

yup, page select thing is still borked and you'd want it more at the bottom than the top of the page.. or both would be ideal.
Feel the default text size is to big.
Makes the forum screen itself feel massive, kind of hurts my eyes.
Hope they fix the avatar window for Firefox with the mousewheel scaling as I have to have it shrunk to preserve my eyes, and to not look so obvious at work.

I must say, the re-design is looking sharp fellas. Massively more intuitive and definitely easier to navigate. Full width is much appreciated as well. With regards to the image re-sizing, I've just inspected the section via firebug and can't your devs just define a max- width? All posts are nested in a DIV class 'content' so you could just apply some CSS:

Why does the forum seemingly recognise html in posts (Removes tags when posted) but does nothing with them? the 'a' tag doesnt seem to work properly, it does in sigs, mind
