A thread for all things Katamari loving.
It has been about two years since we last got our dose of ball rollin' action. However, seems like E3 might be bringing us http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-03-28-what-is-katamari-amore more!
What does Katamari need to survive? For me, if they can nail down a Kinect support to the rolling, I'm in.
Also this thread is for Katamari Coslovin pics. Or anything else odd and Japanese.

THREAD TITLE +1
A greater variety of scenarios, whilst not changing a single other god damned thing, would keep me happy.
Yup, that'd do.
We Love Katamari was a fantastic game, one of the best on PS2. I used to drive work colleagues mad by constantly humming the theme song.
Beautiful Katamari, however, left me a little bored. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent enough game but I ended up trading it in before I'd finished it.
I worry that the concept will become less appealing with each sequel, part of it's brilliance was it's freshness and originality.
The problem is that the mechanics are what defines a Katamari game. I wonder if it would be possible to shift it into other genres, like the Beautiful Katamari end credtis sequence? I like the idea of a racing game in which the faster opponent is able to roll over the slower one.
I want a proper online multiplayer game. Basically I want to roll up Reg, then the world.
I really loved We Love Katamari, and the PSP version was a really nice effort, I still think the 360 version was a friggin disgrace though? Did you play that version? Only being allows to roll up certain items or game over, totally broke it for me.
First videogame theme tune my kids were brainwashed by.
We can't quote people yet? Anyway:
lukeim64 "Only being allows to roll up certain items or game over, totally broke it for me."
This, I do like the Katamari Forever game on the ps3, RoboKing is good, but only roll up hot stuff was horrible. One cold item and it was game over. I did like the Bear/Cow level though.
You have to be crazy to like Katamari. Especially Forever, which was terribly bad.
Keita's busy designing play Parks for Nottingham council, and filming brilliantly nuts adverts for Bony Bony, I turned that on the other day they've got to Jupiter
what's bony bony?
Is it just me that can see a Katamari game for Wii U rolling (ho ho) over the horizon?
A ghey game for a ghey console. I can believe it.
Katamari on 360 wasn't all that bad, I enjoyed it, perhaps not as much as previous iterations but me and the missus still played through the whole game.

Dunno if this will work..Copy the above text into the url bar of your web browser and press enter-see what happens! (nothing nasty).
That's awesome. Wasn't working at first but then realised for reason it wasn't copying 'javascript:' so had to type it by hand.
A link for those to scared to try that explains it
Haha, that's awesome.
