Inflation, the cost of paper, the fall in sales. I remember when Edge went up from 3 to 3.50 in 97 or whateva.
The new paper stock is of higher quality and there are more pages.

Depending on which part of the country it was on sale, it was (at times) a different price.
I subscribe, so I won't be affected until my subscription renewell is due, I'd imagine. I think EDGE is worth £5 though, it's the best games magazine around by quite some distance.
Well it seems that I'm still getting 3 issues for my £9.99 even though I didn't get a T shirt.

Hasn't the actual page size shrunk though, to make it more 'collectible' ? Fix the forum, and then we can talk monies.
What was it before? I always buy a bunch of magazines at the same time, then have a heart attack when I reach the till.
I thought it was a fiver, so it won't make any difference to me.
