I've seen a few clips for this around a year or so ago and to be honest I thought it looked like rubbish. At the time I just assumed it was some third party bullshit, and didn't know it was first party Sega by Team Yakuza. I'm always going to be interested in first party Sega games.
The boxart just looks like something typically cheesey from the side of a Sega arcade cabinet.

Why didn't they just hire Platinum to make Vanquish 2 with 4 player coop?
The first trailer's definition of gameplay is a bit wrong.
Maybe they'll do that anyway.

Gameplay looks solid enough.
Anything I've heard of this has focussed on the team dynamics as being the feature that sets it apart from generic world.
Apart from the guy in the second vid mentioning it at the start there was very little strategy from the team he picked at all.
Might be interesting if they can pull it off in that regard, or if there's actual co-op.
Cover is a bit too subtle for my taste (robot in the top centre as part of the robot-killing squad). Needs to have more face ripping to reveal the robot beneath. And a second layer, revealing that the robot's face is *shock* actually a helmet for a human. Problematise those binaries! - it's deconstructionism for idiots.
Yes. B B B But SEGA.

I didn't care back then.

I am okay with this game.
There's a demo on the Japanese PSN store, I've heard. I have it downloading right now.

Deft counter to the ribs of Curtis by Lawrence. How will Curtis respond?
Gawd only knows.

OMG THERES TWO THREADS ABOUT THIS GAME
Demo is pretty good. Nowhere near Vanquish levels of polish, but i imagine the full package will be more than shoot/cover etc.

People can Fly need to make a cover shooter.
And it comes out just as I finish Vanquish 2.
I can't fucking cope with this. There's two threads, running in parallel. Almost as if the game inhabits a strange...binary...domain.
This is actually much better than I expected. Visually it's much more impressive than Yakuza. Movement's a bit stiff compared to some other third person shooters, it feels like they cannibalised quite a lot from The Club.
