Character Animator

Description
YAGER Development in Berlin, Germany, seeks the talents of a seasoned and passionate Character Animator who enjoys a collaborative creative work environment and is looking to work with like minded professionals to create a true action experience for multiple next-generation platforms.
The Animators primary mission is to create animation content for the game, working closely with artists, designers and programmers. In this role you will create complex, believable human animations for a high definition action title. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for detail and an ability to bring life into in-game characters using proprietary technology.

Responsibilities
•    Create character animations for a Next Generation AAA action game
•    Troubleshoot and solve technical production issues
•    Quickly master in-house tools

Qualifications:
•    3 years or more of professional experience in game production
•    Strong Maya, Motion Builder or 3D Max knowledge (we preferred Maya and Motion Builder)
•    Strong key frame animations and motion capture editing skills
•    Exceptional skills in animating natural and expressive human motion to create realistic, fluid character animations
•    Quality awareness for the requirements of Next-Gen games
•    Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, meet the deadlines and to excel under production conditions
•    Good communication skills across multiple disciplines; ability and willingness to accept and follow direction, and to work collaboratively; excel as a team player
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Desirable skills:
•    Experiences with the Unreal Engine
•    Experience with Endorphin
