Position Overview: Developer Relations seeks an Account Coordinator to work with the Acct Mgr assisting management of third party accounts; handling queries, assist in planning meeting and visit agendas, communication with internal and external groups and preparing business data.
Principal Duties / Responsibilities: - Handling developer queries regarding the PS developer programs and how to enroll.
- Assisting Account Manager in the execution of all duties involved in explaining PS business to developers and help through processes.
- Help in planning of strategic developer meetings and visits to communicate key initiatives.
- Help in preparing pre-meeting agendas for developer visits / meetings / Developer Advisory Panels / trade events.
- Attending developer meetings/visits/ Developer Advisory Panels with Account Manager to track and record communications.
- Assist in communication with internal departments (e.g. TPR, Developer Support, PEG, Legal) to better understand developer processes and how they affect other groups.
Required Knowledge / Skills: - 3 years relevant development experience. product development (producer or equivalent on at least 2 shipped products), or working for a platform holder.
- Excellent knowledge of the console industry and development landscape.
- Is aware of and stays on top of the latest developments in the industry, knowledgeable about recent trends in product development, and is able to analyze the implications of these for the PlayStation business.
- Good high-level technical knowledge.
- Good knowledge of modern development methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with MS Office programs.
- Applicants should be outgoing, well versed in game development processes and trends, and enjoy traveling to talk with game developers on-site and at industry events.
- Works effectively at the technical and administrative level, and fosters strong business relationships with third party developer accounts.
- Communicates effectively all SCEA goals and identifies and pursues areas of business development interest to the company.
Qualifications/ Required Experience / Education: - Outgoing, well-versed in game development processes and trends, and enjoy traveling to talk with game developers on-site and at industry events.
- Capable of being organized and focused when faced with multiple tasks of varying priorities. Strong communication - written and verbal with all stakeholders of the ongoing status of varying issues is required.
- Must demonstrate proficiency with Office suite and demonstrate knowledge of databases.
Preferred Experience / Education: - Previous account management experience is desirable.
- College degree.
- Travel is a regular and expected component for this position.
