Game Tester/QA - Blizzard

Game Tester/QA – French / German / Russian / Spanish Language
 
Blizzard is looking for additional Game Testers/QA. for the French, German, Russian and Spanish language teams. The ideal candidates have a strong focus on linguisticsto ensure quality and testing of the localized versions of Blizzard games and websites. Job duties include documenting bugs and testing games in a dynamic work environment. An ideal candidate is a hardcore gamer with expert knowledge of the French / German / Russian / Spanish language and grammar and who is good at both finding bugs and describing them in an organized and clear fashion. Fluency (both spoken and written) in French / German / Russian / Spanish and English is required for the position.
 
Location: Velizy, France (southwest of Paris), a relocation package will be provided
Permanent work contract
Starting Date: Immediate

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure QA/tests of the French / German / Russian / Spanish version of Blizzard games
  • Ensure QA/tests of the French / German / Russian / Spanish part of Blizzard web sites
  • Ensure consistency with the glossary between games and web sites
  • Help translators with some of the materials
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent English language skills
  • Excellent French / German / Russian / Spanish language skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Heroic fantasy worlds and Blizzard games background
  • Good knowledge of MMORPG, consoles games, RTS and FPS
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Strong motivation and high level of commitment required
  • Basic knowledge in web technologies (HTML, XML)
