OVERVIEW
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded award winning Video Games developer in a senior strategic capacity at a crucial stage of their planned growth. 
 
The Operations Director will oversee all operational areas to include Administration, Finance and IT and will support multiple locations. They will serve as a link between Studio Leadership and the Operations team to ensure smooth and effective operations. 
 
Responsibilities
 
·          Ensures operations in all locations are effective, cost-efficient and compliant
·          Develops both strategic and tactical plans for general operations and infrastructure to include IT, Finance and Administration. Executes such plans in concert with Studio Leadership and operations team members
·          Liaises with corporate finance functions on budget and forecasting
·          Ensures compliance with reporting and documentation and will partner with corporate finance to build and deploy finance systems and tools
·          Ensures IT issues are handled in a timely, cost-effective manner
·          Partners with corporate IT to ensure technological compliance with corporate guidelines and network systems
·          Reports to studio director and manages team of 4
 
Qualifications
 
·          Extensive, progressive experience in Operations and management
·          Experience supporting multiple office locations
·          Bachelors degree in business management or similar field preferred
·          Strong interpersonal, influence, communication and organizational skills
·          Proven ability to successfully navigate and negotiate with corporate/shared resources, vendors, and the like
·          Proven track record in leadership and management of an operational function, and demonstrated ability to develop strategic and tactical plans based on business needs
·          Industry experience is not required; however experience in a fast paced, innovative and creative organization would be advantageous.
