POSITION OVERVIEW
The main focus for the position is the management and overall responsibility for compliance and specialist testing areas across European product on multiple gaming platforms. Based within the EU QA management team you will be working strategically maintaining a good understanding of the wider business context, including strategy and goals, road maps, organisational performance, and financial processes. Decision making is key and demonstrating sound common sense, the use of consistent logic, ability to weigh up options and put the business case forward is essential. This role does require the use of a hands on approach to communication management at all levels instilling confidence and trust in decisions made and ability to deliver. Within this role you will have overall responsibility and management for European QA compliance and delivery as well as QA Online technical testing achieving high results from a corporate and customer-based perspective with utmost efficiency and within agreed QA budget. The core deliverable for this role will be managing successful testing and expectation on all EU product across all labels in Europe for compliance and online technical (Real world, Boundary, emulation & hardware compatibility) from pre production to post final (Inc Global Certification and 1st party interaction), ensuring deadlines and quality targets are met.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
-Demonstrated understanding of software development from pre production to post final along with technical understanding of software elements, change management and process improvement, preferably video game software.
-Knowledge and understanding of 1st party requirements testing and submissions (e.g. TRC/TCR) in a testing environment preferable
-Proven ability in managing a culturally diverse team of people both remotely and locally.
-Proven track record in multi disciplined project test management with 5 or more published titles.
-Prince 2 foundation qualification or above (preferred but not essential).
-Preferably ISEB/ISTQB qualified.
-Self motivated with a strong work ethic.
-Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; must be proficient in English.
-Strong analytical and strategic skills.
-Demonstrated knowledge of software development processes,
-Excellent and proven office software skills: Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, Visio etc.
-Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude under pressure while keeping a high level of integrity
-Enthusiastic and highly organized
