Microsoft has announced that over 2.5 million people have downloaded its interactive quiz show game 1 Vs 100.
The beta’s popularity since launching on June 1 in the US, UK, Republic of Ireland, Germany and France has seen it become one of the top ten most downloaded pieces of gaming content on Xbox Live, according to the platform holder.
The company said in a press release that up to 200,000 people tune in to play each day and that contestants have won more than one million Microsoft Points from competing, in addition to cars, home theatre equipment and other prizes.
Due to an “overwhelming response” from gamers Microsoft said it would be extending the 1 Vs 100 beta season by two weeks to September 13 in all regions.
