Activision Blizzard Strikes LucasArts Publishing Deal

Activision Blizzard has successfully retained its publishing and distribution agreement with LucasArts.

The publishing giant will be LucasArts’ partner for a number of key releases in times ahead, in areas such as Europe, South-East Asia and Australia. The new deal comes after a series of commercially successful game releases between the partnership.

“This agreement with Activision reflects LucasArts' commitment to the international markets and we look forward to bringing the best products to our consumers worldwide,” said LucasArts’ VP of global publishing Mary Bihr.

“We made the decision based upon Activision’s proven track record in managing strong brands and our long standing relationship which has produced tremendous results as games such as LEGO Indiana Jones and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed have risen to the top of sales charts globally.”

The Force Unleashed has now sold over 5.7 million units across the globe.

“We look forward to working alongside LucasArts to release unique and innovative products the whole family can enjoy for the years to come,” said Menno Van der Bil, international general manager of Activision Publishing.

I highly recomened that you look up commets after the force unleashed game has been played by gamers. Also take a good look at the reviews. I also highly ecomend going to force unleashed forms and read some the comments there.

by the way I have can back my statments up with proof. Oh and by the way people got fired for making that mistake at lucas arts. As for lego star wars I hear it's good game a top seller for lucas arts.

Didn't the game devs at lucas arts get fired? force unleashed has the badest repuation out of all lucas arts games. It even got the must dispointing game of the year tittle. Also a huge popuation of pc gamers who are lucas art's fan base was up set with the game not being on the pc. All you need to do is go to lucas arts forum and look up no force unleashed for the pc. The force unleashed is also where lucas arts lie to it's fan base.
