250GB Xbox 360 Kinect Bundle Sighted

Microsoft seemingly planning to launch a second, high end Kinect hardware bundle.

Microsoft is preparing to launch a 250GB Xbox 360 Kinect hardware bundle, according to the Australian packaging for the 4GB Xbox 360 Kinect offering.

Spotted by Joystiq, the unannounced hardware bundle appears to be largely similar to the matte 4GB one, which was revealed in July and is set to hit stores later this month. However, it will feature a larger capacity hard drive, a glossy finish and a headset. While the 4GB Kinect Xbox 360 offering will ship with a copy of Kinect Adventures on disc, the 250GB model will offer an unspecified game and demos on the console’s hard drive.

For Edge 218's Kinect cover story we spoke to the execs driving Microsoft’s motion sensing charge, along with game creators who are producing some of the key software that will launch alongside the device. You can catch a number of those interviews online now.
