Microsoft has announced that it will add three high-profile titles to its budget range, known as Xbox 360 Classics.
Bungie’s Halo3, BioWare’s Mass Effect and Bizarre’s Project Gotham Racing 4 will be available for £20 from March 20 in the UK.
All three titles were initially published by Microsoft Game Studios, though the games’ developers are no longer attached to the platform holder. Bungie announced it had become a privately-held independent just days after the launch of Halo 3, BioWare was acquired by EA, and Bizarre Creations was purchased by Activision.
“We are delighted to add three of our finest titles to the Classics range, adding to the exceptional entertainment offering available on the Xbox 360 at outstanding prices,” says David Gosen Vice President of Marketing for Xbox Europe.
henryc is correct; I saw a guy buy Mass Effect for $20 at Target the other day. I noticed that Halo 3 was not yet selling for that price, though. I can tell you one thing for sure, now that you can buy an Xbox 360 Arcade for only $199 and a brand new copy of Halo 3 for only $19.99, the sales of the Xbox 360 are going to shoot through the roof even higher. Halo 3 is the best-selling game for a reason--it's incredibly fun with great graphics! The four-player co-op is simply the most fun I've ever had in a game.
Sometimes you wonder whether athlete's a real person or just a spam program that slipped through.
The new expanded Mass Effect already retails for $20.
Any word if we will see this on North America?
