Publisher and recruitment agency aim to attract Realtime Worlds staff in the wake of the company entering administration.
Following yesterday’s news (which we have updated today) that Realtime Worlds has entered administration, Activision and game industry recruitment specialist Specialmove have announced a recruitment event in Dundee aimed at attracting staff from the ailing developer.
The event is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 6pm in the Apex Hotel and will include presentations on the publisher’s various studios and vacancies, followed by a networking session. Selected applicants will be invited to one-on-one interviews which will take place on Friday.
“It is always disappointing to hear about the difficulties faced by development studios," says Andy Campbell, CEO of Specialmove. "It is our duty to support the industry and try to provide some assistance and opportunity to those talented staff affected by job losses.
"Activision is at a very exciting time, they have a wonderful network of talented studios in the UK and overseas. They can provide a secure option and the opportunity to work on some amazing games.”
Applicants can register for the event on the official website.
