Mike Griffith has stepped down from his position as Activision Publishing president and CEO.
He will now serve as vice chairman of Activision Blizzard, participating in board of directors and chairman of the board meetings, as well as other internal strategy sessions.
Activision said that he will offer counsel to the publisher’s executive team, and provide services on key initiatives and projects, as requested by CEO Bobby Kotick.
Griffith’s annual base salary will be $250,000. He will also be entitled to discretionary bonuses.
