John Smedley, the president of SOE, says The Agency will launch in the second half of next year following a string of delays.
Speaking about delayed productions to Kotaku, Smedley says: "There was a moment in time in our company where we looked at our own stuff with a clear eye and saw we have to do better. DC Universe was held for a year-and-a-half from when we wanted to launch it and now I'm very happy with it."
The official website for The Agency describes the title as an online first-person shooter “coming soon” to PC and PS3 in which players can level-up via missions or jump directly into PVP battles.
Sony ventured into the online MMOFPS genre with MAG on PS3 earlier this year.
