Sega’s Aliens Vs Predator took the top spot on the UK all formats chart during the week ended February 20.
The Rebellion developed title, which launched on Friday for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC to mixed reviews, became "the fastest selling game so far in 2010", according to Chart-Track.
Former bestsellers Just Dance, BioShock 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and FIFA 10 took the next four positions on the chart.
With the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games ongoing, Sega’s October 2009 release Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Winter Games - which recently passed six million sales - re-entered the top ten in eighth place. Fellow Sega title Vancouver 2010, launched last Monday, debuted at 11.
