Blizzard Entertainment and chipmaker AMD have teamed up for a new hardware/software bundling deal, the companies announced Tuesday.
AMD will now be able to bundle its entire line of ATI Radeon graphics hardware with Blizzard titles.
The partnership goes beyond bundling, according to Blizzard.
"Our collaboration with AMD is especially important to us because it provides us with early access to some of the latest graphics technology," said Blizzard COO Paul Sams in a statement.
"Delivering a polished game experience is one of our top priorities, and this relationship helps us achieve that goal for Blizzard gamers who choose AMD graphics cards."
AMD is also the exclusive graphics sponsor of BlizzCon 2008, which takes place in Anaheim from October 10-11. All PCs at BlizzCon will sport AMD's 4800 series of cards.
