Ubisoft has confirmed plans to release two pieces of downloadable content from January next year.
According to a short news release from Ubisoft, the additional content for Assassin’s Creed II will be available for both PS3 and Xbox 360. The first instalment will be released in January under the name, Battle of Forli. A second episode will then be released in February called Bonfire of the Vanities.
Specific content details and pricing weren’t given, though the publisher advised that each piece of content will require 1GB of space to run.
Speaking to Edge in a recent interview, lead designer Patrick Plourde explained the vision for the title: “I wanted to create something that not only had a huge scale but that felt like a world filled with lots of good things. And that the world featured a story that would be really the spinal cord of the experience.”
