Atari has announced the “phase one re-launch” of Atari.com as it looks to grow its online business.

The publisher’s site now offers a digital download store alongside boxed games for sale, free-to-play coin-op arcade and Atari 2600 titles in the Atari Arcade, and information on the company’s most recent and upcoming releases.

Atari Arcade games include Asteroids, Adventure, Battlezone, Crystal Castles, Lunar Lander and Yars Revenge in their original forms with added worldwide leaderboards.

"Today commences the first stage in Atari's ongoing commitment to growing its online business with the re-launch of Atari.com," said Jim Wilson, president and CEO of Atari. "Our online roadmap contains a multitude of enhancements and exciting new features which over time will redefine how people play and connect with Atari."
