Atari Signs Up for Pirates Deal

Atari has signed a deal with PlayLogic to distribute Age of Pirates: Caribbean Tale in the US, Europe and Asia.

The pirate-themed RPG was formally known as Sea Dogs II, and is being developed by Russia’s Akella. The studio is also behind 2003’s Pirates of the Caribbean, which was published by Bethesda. Other games from the developer include Age of Sail II and the original Sea Dogs.

Age of Pirates is due out for Windows in September.
