Shadow Complex and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 dominated Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network sales during August.

TMNT Re-Shelled and Trials HD both occupied the top spot on the XBLA chart for one week, while Shadow Complex, which was purchased over 200,000 times during its first seven days of availability, topped the rankings for the last two weeks of the month.

Battlefield 1943, Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, ‘Splosion Man, Worms 2 and Castle Crashers all held top ten spots throughout August.



Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 was the most downloaded game on the PlayStation Network during August. It charted ahead of Fat Princess, Battlefield 1943, Final Fantasy VII and fellow new entry Crystal Defenders.



The XBLA chart data appears to be worldwide, while the PSN data is for North America only, according to GamerBytes.
