Development on new Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim content has stopped, Bethesda has announced.
The team has decided to move on to other projects, though smaller updates like bug fixes will still be coming through from time to time.
“Parts of our team have also been in pre-production on our next major project, and that game is at the point where it requires the studio’s full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet,” says a statement on the Bethesda blog. The developer has not announced what that project is.
Skyrim has received three expansions since its release in 2011.
