Bethesda Softworks has opened new sales and marketing offices in Frankfurt, Germany and Paris, France.
Frank Matzke and Julie Chalmette have joined the company to act as managing directors of the German and French operations, respectively.
Matzke previously served as vice president for Europe at Sierra Entertainment and as marketing director for central Europe at Vivendi Games.
Chalmette formerly held the position of general manager for Vivendi Games France.
“The opening of offices in Frankfurt and Paris is a very exciting moment for Bethesda Softworks,” said Sean Brennan, managing director of Bethesda Softworks Europe.
“We have an incredible roster of upcoming AAA games including Fallout: New Vegas, Hunted: The Demon’s Forge, Brink and Rage. Frank and Julie’s extensive knowledge of their territories will help us to maximise and deliver upon these titles’ potential.”
Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, Bethesda already has international offices in London and Tokyo.
