Bizarre Designer Joins Sumo Digital

Gareth Wilson, former design manager at Bizarre Creations, has joined Sheffield studio Sumo Digital.

Wilson was the design lead on the Project Gotham Racing series and Blur before Bizarre Creations closed its doors last week, after owner Activision was unable to find a buyer for the studio.

Now CVG reports Wilson has now been appointed to the role of chief game designer at Sumo, whose recent works include Sega All-Stars Racing, OutRun Online Arcade (pictured) and the PSP version of Blur rival Split/Second: High Voltage.
