The delayed Call Of Duty: Elite app has finally been released for iPhone, Activision has announced.
The stat-tracking, social service launched alongside Modern Warfare 3 on November 8, but after it buckled under the weight of demand Activision delayed both the PC and iPhone launches.
Chacko Sonny, head of Elite developer Beachhead Studios, told VentureBeat: "We've always viewed mobile as a big part of the mission of Call Of Duty: Elite. You can have your Call Of Duty experience be with you no matter where you are."
The functionality of the iPhone app appears to be much the same as Elite in a web browser, with users able to view recent matches, tweak custom class loadouts, and track the performance of friends or other players on Xbox Live or PlayStation Network.
The app, a free download, is available now on the iOS App Store.
