Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix won't be the last of the 2D fighter revamps, Capcom said Thursday.

Speaking to Videogamer.com, Capcom VP of business development Christian Svensson said, "Are we done doing HD Remixes? No we're not done. But the next ones that we do will be even better, based on what we learned."

He said that some Capcom games don't need a high-def re-release, but asked if the celebrated Marvel vs. Capcom 2 was one that "needed" a remix, he said, "I won't say it doesn't need it. Marvel would be great to do. There's obviously a fan base for it. It's probably our most requested title. Unfortunately, I wish I had news to share on that front but I don't."

Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, released last year via Xbox 360 and PS3 download, sold 250K units across both the consoles as of mid-December, less than a month after launch. The release of the game preceded the launch of the full-blown console launch of Street Fighter IV this year.

Strider anyone?
Ghouls and Ghosts?

That would be great. I remember when those two were released for the C64 years ago - two classics released on the same weekend in 1988. My old man bought me the two of them as a one off treat.

Ahh the memories...

Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro. That's what I would love to see in HD.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 HD Remix would be brilliant; it's surely the pinnacle of the Marvel/Capcom games. I can just see the 3 on 3 online matches now...

Cap Vs SNK 2 would also be great. I love the ratio system and choice of grooves in that game. I hope they happen!

MVC2 was rated by the ERSB last year so maybe its further along than we realize, but CVS2 or 3s would be a good choice. CVS2 would be great because it's already an awesome game but does need some changes here and there to make it more accessible for people.

I wish SNK would do the same with graphically remixed versions of Neo Geo games in high definition on Xbox Live Arcade!

That would be AWESOME!!!

So many times I have seen people ask for great Neo Geo games like Magician Lord, King of the Monsters, Wrestlefest, Ninja Combat, NAM 75, Baseball Stars, and so many others to be released on Xbox Live Arcade with true 1080p graphics similar to Street Fighter 2 Turbo.

C'mon SNK, don't release the low-resolution versions like you did with Samurai Shodown 2 in 4:3 aspect ratio. Remix the games in 16:9 ratio and update them with HD graphics! Those games used to sell for $200. They would be best-sellers on Xbox Live Arcade with that kind of quality!

Or release a Neo Geo classics disc for Xbox 360. That game would sell MILLIONS!

Thanks Kim/MS for "leaking" some future XBLA releases. Glad to see other studios are picking up on the "HD remix" idea...

Whoever made the Ghouls n Ghost suggestion I give props to. I actually really liked Super Ghouls n Ghosts for the SNES (talk about a hard game). I wouldn't mind seeing Super Castlevania IV (and Actraiser) for XBLA but I wonder if those two games could be made on XBLA or PSN considering they were SNES games? I know they have those three games available digitally on the Wii but I want them on my 360 with achievements and so on. Would Nintendo have to allow those games to be made on XBLA/PSN even though they were 3rd party games?
