Trade show organizer CMP has bought The Austin Game Conference for $1.15m.
The Austin Game Conference took place on September 6-8 this year, attracting more than 2,000 attendees and over 150 vendors. CMP organizes the Game Developers Conference.
The deal involves the purchase of AGC producer The Game Initiative. According to CMP, the AGC "will remain a focal point for examination of online, PC, casual, and mobile game interests," and will take place at the same time and location annually.
