Nintendo platform titles took 19 out of 30 places across the Spanish, German and Swedish top tens during the week ended August 17.

Six PC and two PS2 games also made the charts, along with one title for each of Sony’s PS3 and PSP, and Microsoft’s Xbox 360.

Mario Kart Wii took the top spot in Germany, followed by Wii Fit and the previous week’s bestseller, Drakensang: The Dark Eye for PC. Brain Training and Mario Kart for DS rounded off the top five.

Wii Fit took the gold medal in Spain ahead of the PS3 version of Beijing 2008, Wii Play, Mario Kart Wii and Buzz! Master Quiz for PSP.

In Sweden PC titles took five of the top ten places, but it was the PS2 version of Guitar Hero III that topped the chart. The Sims 2: Ikea Home Stuff came in at No2, followed by Mario Kart Wii, Guitar Hero Aerosmith for PS2 and World of Warcraft.
